Karst landscapes are limestone features with underground drainage systems, forming tunnels, caves, caverns, gorges and cliffs.
The natural circulation of water creates complex drainage systems which create underground rivers.
Karst structures provide a large portion of water resources in certain countries.
In France and following the drought in 1976, a group of cave divers set about introducing groundwater catchment in karst systems in the Grenoble region in France. They are the founders of the Hydrokarst company.
With their historical experience of working in karst environments, our teams of technicians, cavers and divers can perform a variety of tasks :
- – Site reconnaissance
- – Design and engineering
- – Drilling and coring work
- – Pumping work
- – Construction of civil engineering structures
- – Installation of pipelines
- – Groundwater extraction points
